The Nordstrand Vase is inspired by the coastal landscape at Skagen's Nordstrand—where sea and land meet in a restless, creative movement. Here, beauty arises in contrasts: the wild and the calm, the raw and the soft.
The vase also reflects the opposites we carry within ourselves—strength and vulnerability, restlessness and presence. In the tension between nature's forces and the human interior, a living balance emerges.
The work is a tribute to the imperfect and the genuine—a reminder that both we and the landscape are shaped by encounters, change, and what we cannot control.
